Verse Of The Day: Isaiah 41:10

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

verse of the day isaiah 41:10

Imagine a child learning to ride a bike. At first, the thought of pedaling without training wheels feels terrifying. But the parent doesn’t just stand far away shouting instructions. They run alongside, holding the bike steady, making sure the child doesn’t topple over.

Even when the child wobbles, the parent’s hand keeps them upright until they learn to trust. I remember teaching my daughter to ride a bicycle. When I was a child, I fell many times over and bruised my knees and legs. It took me quite a few attempts and the will to not give up before I could ride a bike. But my daughter surprised me. I was holding on to her seat and running behind her and she had complete trust in me. I slowly let go of my hands but still jogged behind her and voila, the very first attempt, she was off on her own. I was awestruck. Perhaps she is a special girl with a special talent I thought. I congratulated her and praised her when she stopped.

But she didn’t know she was riding on her own. She thought I was holding her all the while.

This is what trust does. This is what faith in our Heavenly Father does to you too. That’s exactly how God works with us. Life often feels like riding a bike on uneven ground—you wobble, fear creeps in, and sometimes discouragement whispers, “You’re going to fall.” But God says, “Don’t fear, I’m right here. My hand is holding you steady.”

But as you grow in faith, God may let go of His hands at times when He wants to discipline you. He disciplines those whom He loves. He may let you fall and bruise yourself at times just so you can learn to trust in Him again.

This verse of the day isn’t just about removing fear, but about replacing it with confidence—confidence in God’s presence, strength, and support. He doesn’t say you won’t face tough roads. He says you won’t face them alone. His righteous right hand is strong enough to hold you when your strength gives out.

  • When fear rises today, pause and pray: “Lord, thank You that You are with me. I choose to trust Your hand holding me steady.”
  • Instead of asking “What if I fail?” ask “What if God shows His strength through me?”
  • Write down one area of your life where you’ve felt overwhelmed and put this verse over it as a reminder: “I will strengthen you and help you.”
